With it's 27-year history, this event is a favorite of students and parents alike! Students run or walk as many laps as their feet will take them around our Gateway campus ½ mile route. The purpose is to increase physical fitness by focusing on training throughout the month of September and to raise funds through pledges or gifts.

This year our theme is

 SURVIVOR!

We read in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous!”

and our students have done exactly that this past year! To celebrate our student’s strength, we will be hosting a Tribal Party in our parking lot after the Marathon with shave ice, a food truck and more!

Our goal is $20,000!

Did you know that our Gateway Eagles & NKPS building is a piece of Poulsbo history? It was constructed on donated land in 1920 as the original Poulsbo Elementary. Additions were made to the building in 1930, 1941, 1946 and 1962. While we’ve come a long way in 100 years, the newest part of our building is still 59 years old! The flooring in the upper hallway needs replaced, and our goal is to raise $20,000 to install new flooring in the upper hallway classrooms and bathrooms here at Gateway Eagles! We are committed to good stewardship of the building God has blessed us with and we know this need can be met with your help!

Thanks for supporting our students and our school!
